df1 Photography, is an online art gallery, with the
works of Dennis Finn , a New York area photographer.
From this gallery you may both view and purchase photo
quality prints by this photographer. All works on this
site are copyrighted and as such, at this time, are
only available from this site.
The images shown are from work done mainly in this
country. At times there will be work shown form other
countries and these will be so noted. Most of the present
photos are in color. Color photography is my medium
and I strive to bring out the best of the color present.
This is what I seek even in the night photos where in
the overwhelming darkness, a small amount of color with
all its' hues, can be enchanting.
Print process and paper
df1 Photography delivers high-quality photographic prints
using the latest printing technology available. We print
your photos on high-quality Kodak paper, a resin-coated,
silver-halide color paper optimized for digital printers.
A light source inside our digital printers exposes the
photographic paper pixel by pixel. This process mimics
traditional photography, in which light from the subject
exposes photographic film inside of a camera.
8 x 10 prints are glossy
finish; 16 x 20 and 20 x 30 prints are matte finish.
Archival quality
In photography, the term "archival quality"
suggests that prints are durable and chemically stable.
The prints you order from df1 Photography have the same
archival quality as prints made from the medium format
transparency originals.
Image sizes and aspect ratios
The "aspect ratio" of a photo is the relationship
between its height and width. For example, a square
image has an aspect ratio of 1:1 - the width is equal
to the height.
8x10 and 16x20 prints share the same aspect ratio of
1:1.25. 20x30 prints have an aspect ratio of 1:1.5.
Therefore the images you receive may be cropped differently
than they appear on this web site. We have done our
best to ensure that the images on this web site accurately
reflect the prints that you will receive, regardless
of the size that you order.
Since the aspect ratios of 8x10, 16x20 and 20x30 prints
differ, some image may not be available in all sizes.
This web site will not give you the option to purchase
photographs that are not available in unsupported sizes.
Merchandise return policy
You may return any item for
any reason within 30 days of receipt. If we have
sent you the wrong item, if your item arrived damaged,
if your product is not what you expected, or if you
have changed your mind df1 Photography will refund your
purchase price and shipping costs. If you have any questions,
please e-mail us.
If you do need to make a return, please e-mail us first for a return authorization number. Then simply send your order
- in the original packaging, if possible - along with
the Order Summary to the following address:
